Elizabeth creates land- and cityscape paintings both on-site (outdoors) and in her studios. In spite of a pragmatic upbringing, Elizabeth responded to an unyielding call to create, even before her artistic lineage was known to her. Her family history included photographers, sculptors, painters, poets, writers and professional chefs. Elizabeth is inspired by the stories and emotions conjured by visual cues in her surroundings. She says, "Meaning depends on the audience. Depth of meaning depends on the artist!"
